Closet Confdential: Favorites

If a man’s eyes are the window to his soul, a woman’s closet is certainly the window to her style! To give you a little view into my style, I want to share with you a few of my prized possessions.

If you’ve ever met me, you’ve probably seen me wear this bag. This is what I’d call my first real designer purse (if you don’t count my old Coach purses from middle school). Although it’s still in great condition, it’s lost its shape a little, and I wish I had taken better care of it. Oh, all the things I know now that I wish I had known then…

I bought these shoes for a really great price last Christmas when I found them in a Marshalls. Since then, I’ve seen them in department stores for twice what I paid for them. I love these shoes SO much. They go with everything, I wear them all the time, they’re super comfortable, and they enhance my athletic legs. I’m constantly scouring Marshalls’ all over the country for a black pair. Keep me in mind the next time you go!

This bag is new to my closet! My aunt gave it to me for my 20th birthday. She bought it on a recent trip to Hawaii. I love it! It’s got an eccentric shape, which I love! I’m trying to push outside of my style boundaries and slowly transition my classic style to become a little more modern. I’ve worn it a lot since I’ve been back in D.C.

I love that it’s more complex than most women’s perfumes are. I feel so chic when I wear it. I never used to wear it, but now that it’s sitting in a display on my bathroom counter in my new apartment, it’s easy to pick up, spritz on, and go.

I got this beauty last Christmas. At first, I didn’t like it at all. Now, I wear it almost every day! I always get compliments on it. Everyone always asks me if it’s a Michael Kors watch. There’s a good reason everyone keeps asking! I found out recently that Fossil manufactures the watches for Michael Kors’ line!

What is one of your favorite pieces in your closet? I want to know! Leave a comment below!
