Hey Everyone! I know. I've been a bad little blogger, and I haven't updated all week. There's been a lot going on!

I flew home to sweet Texas, staffed my final work event, and finally saw my wonderful friends and family. I've been working out like a fiend all week, and we've all been preparing for my little sister to come to Howard next week!

In the midst of all this excitement, I got some great news:

I am super excited to announce that I am writing a column called The D.C. Debutante in Houston Style Magazine! My new column starts on August 23.

In this new column, I'll be profiling the trends on the stylish women of Howard University and the D.C. metro area. The column will focus on how to take East Coast trends and make them your own by adding Texas flavor. I'm so excited to bring you all more style news and suggestions! Keep checking back next week as I tackle Howard University street style!
